Terms & conditions

1. Introduction and Acceptance

Welcome to the MP Laser Engraving website (the “Site”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Site and the services offered by MP Laser Engraving (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Site or our services.

2. Services Offered

MP Laser Engraving provides custom laser engraving and etching services on a variety of materials, including items supplied by us (e.g., insulated bottles, trophies) and items supplied by the customer (“Customer-Supplied Items”). We also offer trophy supply services.

We strive to ensure all product descriptions and pricing are accurate, but errors may occur. We reserve the right to correct any errors and to change or update information at any time without prior notice.

3. Custom Engraving, Artwork, and Liability

3.1 Artwork Approval: All custom engraving projects require the customer’s final approval of the artwork or design proof prior to production. Once approved, the order cannot be canceled, and the customer is responsible for any errors in the approved artwork (e.g., spelling, dates, layout).

3.2 Customer-Supplied Items (CSIs):

Risk of Damage: The customer acknowledges that providing Customer-Supplied Items for engraving carries an inherent risk. While we use advanced technology and exercise great care, MP Laser Engraving is not liable for damage, errors, or loss that may occur to CSIs during the engraving process.

Materials: The customer is responsible for ensuring the material of the CSI is suitable for laser engraving. We reserve the right to decline engraving any item we deem unsafe or unsuitable.

3.3 Content and Copyright: The customer warrants that any designs, logos, or text provided for engraving do not infringe upon any third-party copyrights, trademarks, or intellectual property rights. The customer agrees to indemnify and hold MP Laser Engraving harmless against any claim or loss resulting from the use of content provided by the customer.

4. Order, Payment, and Cancellation

4.1 Pricing and Payment: All prices are listed in AUD. Payment is due at the time the order is placed, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

4.2 Cancellations: Orders can only be canceled before the artwork proof has been approved. Once approval is received and production has started, the order is non-refundable and cannot be canceled.

4.3 Production Time: Estimated production times are provided as guidelines only and are not guaranteed. MP Laser Engraving is not liable for delays caused by material shortages, equipment failure, or any events outside our reasonable control.

5. Returns, Refunds, and Warranty

5.1 Custom Items: Due to the personalized nature of our custom engraving services, all sales are final and non-refundable, except in the case of an error on the part of MP Laser Engraving (e.g., engraving differs from the approved proof).

5.2 Warranty: We do not offer a warranty on any items that are customer-supplied. Any warranty for items supplied by MP Laser Engraving (e.g., bottles, glasses) is limited to the manufacturer’s standard warranty, if applicable.

6. Disclaimer Regarding YETI and Other Brands

Disclaimer: Third-Party Products

MP Laser Engraving is an independent engraving service and is not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by YETI or any other product manufacturer whose products may be purchased or supplied for our services. You acknowledge that engraving or modification services performed on any branded product may void the original manufacturer’s warranty.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MP Laser Engraving will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or products. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total price paid for the specific goods or services giving rise to the claim.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Queensland and the Commonwealth of Australia.
